Warm and Fuzzy
The other day in class we provided you with a soft cotton ball, your very own warm and fuzzy.
With it, you came up with ten sensory images from a blazing fire to a steaming cup of cocoa to describe things that give you a warm and fuzzy feeling.
Now you are to use those images create your own metaphor poem. After reading your poem, your reader should feel a sense of contentment, bliss, comfort, etc. because of the images you used to describe what “warm and fuzzy” feels like.
Without using the term “warm and fuzzy,” how can you craft your poem? Consider the poems on the reverse of this sheet.
